What About The Others? (Adventures of Jimmy Neutron: Boy Genius)
As for Sheen, Carl, Libby, Cindy, and my OC April... I do not really have plans or ideas for them in this concept. I vaguely imagine that they are each doing well with their dreams and careers as adults, and I like to think both the other couples, Sheen with Libby, and Carl with the side character Elke Ekberg, stayed together through adulthood.
I did not leave Cindy out due to disliking her, or for any other similar reasons. But rather, it seems more appropriate to have Cindy take time to learn from her mistakes, do some maturing, find someone new in her adult years, and does not actively bully them in order to gain their affections. I do give her success in love in the Next Generation, yes.
I simply just do not wish to explore her character, nor any story ideas with her. There is zero interest.
In terms of their friendships with Jimmy - Carl, Sheen, and April each maintain strong bonds with all Neutron family members. Technology is a powerful tool in this generation, which makes it very easy to stay in touch. The routine visits to Earth very much include get togethers, the occasional wayward adventure with everyone like in their childhood, and all three are close to Jane Neutron as a result.
For the two girls, I imagine Cindy's relationship with the Neutrons is pretty much nonexistent these days. She sees Jimmy as "the one that got away", but has matured to an extent, and wishes him well in his career attempts. She holds a minor grudge against Betty and April both, but keeps her distance out of respect for her and Jimmy's past.
Libby only keeps in contact with them due to her married life with Sheen. She is mostly neutral out of loyalty to her still best friend Cindy, but treats them each with absolute respect, regardless of any conflicts in their past.
